Sony has revealed the first screenshots of the upcoming PlayStation Store redesign and also offered a release date for it in both the U.S. and Europe.
The store will work on a carousel design scrolling from left to right, allowing for more information to be made easily accessible from the store front. The Store will also use a “Hero” theme, displaying major game characters on each page to advertise various games such as Assassin’s Creed‘s Connor or Messi for FIFA 13.
The redesign will be rolled out in Europe on October 17 with a U.S. launch to follow on October 23.
