Call of Duty Modern Warfare 3

THE BUZZ: Robert Bowling, Community Strategist for Infinity Ward, has revealed the first screenshot of the upcoming map pack DLC for Modern Warfare 3.

The DLC is due to hit Xbox Live on January 24, 2012 for Call of Duty: Elite subscribers. Other platform dates will not be announced until next year. Infinity Ward, Sledgehammer Games and Raven Software are all working on updates for the game, and it has been promised that this time there will be more variety to add-on content. The screenshot is from a map known as “Park.”

Bowling said on Twitter: “Exclusive sneak peek at ‘Park’ – some of the first #MW3 DLC hitting Jan 24th for Elite subscribers! More info in Jan!”

EGM’s TAKE: At least this time we won’t be getting a bunch of map packs which end up costing more than the original game, variation is a good thing.
