THE BUZZ: Remedy announced last week that a brand new Alan Wake game will be revealed at the VGAs next month, and now the first screenshot from the game has been released.

As you can see from the screenshot, released by Game Informer, Alan has ditched his coat and gone for the checkered shirt look, he can be seen standing on a highway outside the Desert Shore Hotel sporting his trusty flashlight. The game is set for release on XBLA and is rumored to revolve around Night Springs. The VGAs will take place December 10 on Spike TV, MTV2 and Spike.com at 8:00 p.m. EST.

EGM’s TAKE: More Alan Wake can only be a good thing, hopefully the move down to a downloadable title won’t cause the overall atmosphere to suffer.
