343 Industries and Microsoft have released the first images from the upcoming live action Halo 4 web series, Forward Unto Dawn.

The stills, which you can see below, mostly showcase the group of UNSC marine cadets that’ll be the focus of Forward Unto Dawn‘s story, but there are a few shots of everyone’s favorite Spartan as well.

The five episode series, which reportedly cost between $5 and $10 million to produce, will be screened for the first time at Comic-Con later this week, but those of us who can’t make the trek to San Diego will be able to catch it on Halo Waypoint and Machinima Prime starting October 5. An special 90-minute extended cut of the series will be available as part of the $100 Limited Edition of Halo 4.
