10 games have been approved for sale on Steam thanks to the community’s votes via the new Greenlight system, one of which is an ambitious Source Engine mod that can’t be underestimated.
Black Mesa is a Source-Engine mod that has basically recreated the original Half-Life, the project is being developed by a team of over 40 volunteers, and now it’s finally going to get its chance on Steam thanks to this new program.
“The Steam community rallied around these titles and made them the clear choice for the first set of titles to launch out of Greenlight,” said Valve’s Anna Sweet. “Since launch, hundreds of titles have been submitted, with more coming in every day. We expect to be announcing more titles coming to Steam via Greenlight soon.” The full list of games can be found below:
- Black Mesa
