Today’s 1.9 update for Fortnite will introduce a new Launch Pad trap to Fortnite: Battle Royale,” developer Epic Games has announced.
“The Launch Pad trap flings players high into the air and lets you re-deploy your glider mid-match,” the developer explains. “Traverse the battlefield in style as you soar over any obstacles in your path and surprise your enemies with an aerial assault.”
Once deployed, this new trap can be triggered by any player in the game and has unlimited uses. However, it can be destroyed like any other trap.
Update 1.9 also once again adjusts sensitivity settings for controllers to improve scoped sensitivity. Following the update, sensitivity settings have been adjusted to range from 1 through 10 instead of 0.0 through 1.0.
On the PvE Save the World side of the game, the update introduces a brand new set of shotguns for players to use that can either be found in the world or looted from Llamas.
