For Honor

The war rages on in For Honor as Ubisoft celebrates the game’s past, present, and future with a developer video that’s called just that.

The video starts with developers like brand director Luc Duchaine and game director Damien Kieken discussing the life of For Honor up to this point, including the big and small content drops that kept the experience from getting stale. The developers go on to discuss the community, who have supported the creators through both passion and feedback, with some of the most dedicated players having actually gone to the studio to play roles in the creative process.

After covering the improvements made to the online architecture, ensuring a more stable gaming experience for all players, the developers end the video with a tease of a reveal coming at E3 2018. While fans have known a new hero would be announced at E3, we only now have an idea of who it might be. One of the last clips in the trailer below shows an offscreen character holding a cutlass, suggesting that For Honor‘s next hero may very well be a pirate of the high seas.

For Honor‘s sixth season of content is currently live, titled Hero’s March, and it brought numerous improvements to the game. In addition to various hero rebalances and other perks, fans have enjoyed the new Beachhead map, playable in all modes expect Tribute.

Nick didn’t start gaming until mid-2006. Once his parents finally allowed a console into the house, it was all uphill from there. Starting out with a PS2, he grew an affinity for Sony consoles and moved on to the PS3, and now the PS4. He keeps his gaming palette wide, but, gun to his head, he’d have to say shooters are his genre of choice. Find him on Twitter @idole808

For Honor will use its past to improve its future

For Honor isn't that old of a game, but it has grown a lot in the past year and couple months.
