For Honor

For Honor‘s third year of content, dubbed the Year of the Harbinger, will commence next month.

The Year of the Harbinger will include four seasons of content updates, with the first season kicking off on January 31st, 2019. This first season is titled Vortiger, and will include a new Knight hero and map. Each season will introduce one new hero, representing each of the four in-game factions. Fans can see which faction is launching in which season from a roadmap in the content’s official Ubisoft blog post, as well as what weapons each hero will bring to the fight.

As usual, purchasing For Honor‘s Year 3 Pass will give those players free access to its new heroes one week earlier than everyone else. Other bonuses earned through the Year 3 Pass include five Scavenger Crates, 30 days of Champion Status, and a special “Thunderbolt and Frightening” effect that can be used on any hero. Those that don’t pick up the Year 3 Pass can still unlock the new heroes, but they’ll have to be purchased with 15,000 of the in-game Steel currency.

For Honor was recently added to PlayStation Now, meaning anyone with a subscription to the service can enjoy the medieval brawler for free.
