Former Call of Duty Dev Kickstarting 2D Puzzle-Platformer
Posted on March 4, 2013 AT 11:09am

Former Call of Duty developer Robert Bowling left Infinity Ward March last year to form his own studio, Robotaki. Today, he unveiled their second project, The Adventures of Dash, a crowd-funded 2D puzzle-platformer.
In The Adventures of Dash, the titular hero, who suffers from narcolepsy, can fall asleep at anytime, anywhere. And each time he does, Dash finds himself in a unique dream world dungeon designed by an original artist. So one part of the game takes place in the waking world, in which Dash explores his home, school, and various town locations in an open world way. The other part of the game takes place in the aforementioned dream world dungeons.
Robert Bowling and Robotoki have turned to Kickstarter to fund the team while they build the game in the next seven months. The money will also back a documentary about the birth of Robotoki and the studio’s growth over the next two years.
Bowling hopes to self-publish Dash on PC, Mac, Linux, Ouya, mobile devices, and on console digital platforms.
