Posted on November 7, 2013 AT 10:31am

Former members of SpellForce and Lord of Ultima developer EA Phenomic have formed a new studio, Envision Entertainment, based in Ingelheim, Germany.

A team of 25 make up Envision Entertainment, including former EA Phenomic vice-president Dirk Ringe, who is serving as Envision’s CEO. Ringe is also joined by creative director Volker Wertich, development director Boris Kunkel, producer Marco Lohlein, and technical director Mark Novolozhilov.

EA Phenomic shut down earlier this year, in July. In addition to the SpellForce series and Lord of Ultima, the studio, which specializes in real-time strategy games, most recently developed 2012’s Command & Conquer: Tiberium Alliances.
