This week’s Fortnite Battle Royale update will introduce a new explosive item to the game, developer Epic Games has announced.

According to a tweet from the developer, update 3.3 will add the new remote explosives item to the game, allowing players to take out unsuspecting enemies from afar.

As well as adding remote explosives, this week’s update will introduce new loot llamas to the game. These llamas can be found around the map and contain a number of items that will help players out in a pinch. Finally, update 3.3 will remove smoke grenades from the game due to them not really being used by players.

Epic Games recently announced that it will be adding cross-platform, progression, and purchase support between the Xbox One, PC, Mac, and mobile versions of Fortnite Battle Royale.

Fortnite Battle Royale is available now on Xbox One, PlayStation 4, and PC.
