The record for most total kills in a Fortnite: Battle Royale Duo round has been topped once again, with one team getting a combined kill count of nearly half of all players in a match.

The record now stands at a combined kill count of 40 kills. The PC players who pulled off the impressive feat are Ninja, who picked up 27 kills, and KingRichard, who got 13. The two streamers are also known for holding the previous record of 36 kills. The team’s latest accomplishment was recorded on Ninja’s Twitch channel, but be warned, their victory does contain a fair bit of profanity.

The streamers are regularly trying the beat their records, even if it doesn’t always work out, so fans should expect to see them top themselves again sometime in the near future. Any players looking to mimic their success will want to follow their streams for useful strategies to employ.

These players are seemingly achieving these impressive feats in the midst of a variety of issues that have recently plagued the game. Developer Epic Games delayed the latest update that was intended to launch yesterday, and are even reverting to an older version of the game’s building system until the problems can be sorted out.
