Epic Games has announced that it will be adding support for resolutions greater than 1080p on PlayStation 4 Pro in an upcoming Fortnite Battle Royale update.

“For those of you playing Fortnite on a PS4 Pro, in the near future we’re adding support for greater than 1080p res when connected to a 4K TV,” the developer wrote in its latest State of Development. “Plan out that next drop with even more clarity!”

Currently, the PlayStation 4 pro runs at a pretty solid 60 FPS, but is restricted to just 1080p on PlayStation 4 Pro.

In other news, Epic recently detailed its plans to split up mouse/keyboard and controller users on consoles. The new input-based matchmaking system will place console players using a mouse/keyboard into PC lobbies.

Fortnite is available now on Xbox One, PlayStation 4, PC, Nintendo Switch, iOS, and Android.
