After weeks of teasing, Epic Games has finally smashed the meteor into Fortnite Battle Royale’s map, triggering the start of Season 4.
To start with, Dusty Depot is no more. Instead, it has been replaced by Dusty Divot, a new area that features a giant crater. Players who venture into this new area will find Hop Rocks, a new glowing rock that will grant a player the power of anti-gravity jumps for a short period of time when used. As well as this, a new area called Risky Reels has been added to the north east of the map which also features a crater with Hop Rocks.
The Season 4 Battle Pass is also now available to purchase, offering owners a number of new superhero-themed skins, emotes, gliders, pickaxes, and more. The Battle Pass is once again priced at 950 V-Bucks.
Other changes for Battle Royale players include a new random option for cosmetics, the removal of the crossbow, and various performance improvements.
While Save the World players get a new questline called the Blockbuster Event, several new Spec Ops heroes, three new weapons, and the addition of loot drops from enemies and mini bosses.

Fortnite Battle Royale and Save the World are available now on Xbox One, PlayStation 4, and PC.
