Epic Games is pushing update 2.5.0 live for Fortnite later today, bringing with it changes to both Battle Royale and Save the World modes.

On the Battle Royale side of things, players are getting a new Impulse Grenade that will knock players back and can be found in treasure chests and supply drops only. The update also introduces new hidden Shrines to the map that contain treasure.

As well as the above, Battle Royale players also get dynamic resolution scaling on PS4 and Xbox One, full 4K support on Xbox One X, a buffed Scoped Assault Rifle, a number of performance improvements, and audio adjustments. Finally, the update removes the basic SMG from the game and buffs the Tactical Submachine Gun.

While on the Save the World side of things, the update adds a new universal inventory, a new opt-in difficulty selector that can increase the difficulty of missions by up to five times, new Lunar New Year heroes, new Dragon-themed weapons, the Heartbreaker Crossbow, and more.

Take a look at the full patch notes here.

Fortnite is available now on Xbox One, PlayStation 4, and PC.
