Epic Games has released a new weekly update for Fortnite on all platforms.
The big highlight of this week’s update is the introduction of the new Quad Launcher weapon. This new addition lets players fire up to four rockets in quick succession and is available in both epic and legendary variants.
As well as this new weapon, the update brings with it the previously teased Disco Domination LTM. In this 50v50 mode, dance floors spawn around the island and players must capture them by clearing out any enemies and then dancing to get points for their team.
“Dance Floors have spawned around the Battle Royale island. Take them over by clearing out any enemies and then dancing to raise a disco ball up from the floor,” the developer explains. “The team that fills their meter the fastest by capturing and defending the dance floors will win the match!”
Other changes include the return of the Port-A-Fortress, weapon drop rate adjustments, a fix for blurry textures on Xbox One, and a fix for Bonesy barking too much.
Sadly, all Save the World players are getting this week is the return of the Noble Launcher and Vindertech Disintegrator Shotgun. However, next week is looking a little better for players of Fortnite’s PvE mode, with plans to add a new variant of Retrieve the Data and mission requirements for the whole party to prevent low level players appearing in high level content.
