Epic Games has pushed update 4.4 live for Fortnite on Xbox One, PlayStation 4, PC, and mobile.

The highlight of this update for Battle Royale players is the introduction of the Thermal Scoped Assault Rifle. This new rifle is available in Epic and Legendary variants, and allows players to see chests, Supply Drops, enemy heat signatures, and more when scoped.

As well as this, the Bouncer trap can now be placed on ramps, a new soccer stadium has been added to the north of the map, the jetpack has been moved to the Vault, and an intelligent download system has been introduced for Xbox One that will reduce the size of future updates.

Finally, new versions of Sniper Shootout and 50v50 were announced that make changes to available weapons, storm circles, and the amount of materials available.

While on the Save the World side of things, players get the third part of the Blockbuster questline, a new anti-cheat system, a new Mythic Ninja hero, and a new Obliterator Sniper Rifle.
