A new update is now available for Fortnite across all platforms that makes a number of changes and fixes several bugs.

On the PvP Battle Royale side of things, the chance of getting Bandages from Treasure Chests and Supply Drops has been reduced, aim assist on controllers has been reduced, personal stats and XP gained will now be shown at the end of matches, and numerous improvements have been made to increase overall performance.

As well as the above, the game’s audio has been overhauled to reduce the volume of ambient trap sounds, reduce the sound of ally footsteps, increase the audio range of sniper shots, and make it easier to hear footsteps through walls.

While on the PvE Save the World side, the update adds four new exclusive characters for Xbox One players, adds new daily quests, and adds new map icons.

Fortnite is available now on Xbox One, PlayStation 4, and PC.
