The previously announced account merging system for Fortnite is finally live.

For those who are unaware, back when cross-play between PlayStation 4 and other platforms was announced last year, Epic Games stated that it was working on a way for players to combine their accounts. The system was originally supposed to be out by the end of last year, but was pushed back.

Well that system is now live and all players need to do is head on over to the game’s official site to access it. Simply sign into the primary account that will be the recipient and the secondary account that is being merged, and after two weeks all Fortnite cosmetic items and V-Bucks from the merged account will be transferred to the main.

There are a few caveats however. To start with, one of the accounts “must have played on Xbox One or Switch and the other on PS4 before September 28th 2018 to be eligible.” In addition, neither account can be banned or disabled, and players must have access to the email addresses of both accounts.

As for what will be merged. All cosmetic items and V-Bucks from Battle Royale can be transferred, as well as all Llamas, Defenders, Heroes, Schematics, Survivors, XP, Evolution, and Perk Materials from Save the World. However, Creative Islands and Save The World account level and progress will not be merged.

Earlier this week, Epic released a new update for Fortnite that introduced Bottle Rockets and environmental campfires to the game.

Fortnite is available now on Xbox One, PlayStation 4, PC, Nintendo Switch, iOS, and Android.
