Epic Games has announced the Fall Skirmish for Fortnite Battle Royale.

This latest series of competitive events will offer a total of $10 million in prize money split across six weeks. More information about the Fall Skirmish will be shared later this week, according to the developer.

This follows on from the recently concluded Summer Skirmish event that offered $8 million in prize money and latest eight weeks. The Skirmish events see professional Fortnite players and amateur players who did well in the Showdown limited-time mode fighting in a variety of matches with differing rulesets.

In other news, the latest update for Fortnite was released last week and added the High Stakes event, the Grappler item, and more.

Fortnite is available now on Xbox One, PlayStation 4, PC, Nintendo Switch, iOS, and Android.
