Fortnite‘s latest update was scheduled to go live earlier today, but has been delayed by developer Epic Games.
According to the developer, a bug has been discovered in update 4.2 that will prevent it from being launched on time. Epic notes that the update’s delay may cause some quests not to function until the update is released.
We’ve discovered an issue that’s going to delay the release of v4.2. Due to this delay some quests may not function until the build releases.

As for what’s included in this update. On the Battle Royale side of things, players are getting epic and legendary variations of a new burst assault rifle. While Save the World players can look forward to the Perk Recombobulator, allowing weapon and trap perks to be rerolled.
In other news, the Avengers: Infinity War limited-time game mode that allowed players to become Thanos has come to an end.
Fortnite is available now on Xbox One, PlayStation 4, PC, and mobile.
