The latest in-game news update for Fortnite Battle Royale has teased the introduction of the Quad Launcher.

The Quad Launcher has been brought over from Save the World and lets players “quickly fire up to four rockets to blanket an area with explosive damage,” according to Epic Games. This new weapon should arrive in the game as part of this week’s update, but a date is yet to be set.

Also coming in this week’s update is a new limited-time variant of Retrieve the Data for Save the World players. This special version of the mode introduces a storm that will slowly close in on the objective as the timer ticks down.

In other news, Epic Games recently announced the Support-A-Creator event for Fortnite that will let players donate to their favorite content creators when spending V-Bucks.

Fortnite is available now on Xbox One, PlayStation 4, PC, Nintendo Switch, iOS, and Android.
