Epic Games has decided to extend its profit-sharing Support-A-Creator program for Fortnite permanently.

The system was added to the game back in October and lets players choose a community creator who will be rewarded whenever V-Bucks are spent. The chosen creator gets a share of any V-Bucks spent, including both V-Bucks earned through gameplay and purchased V-Bucks.

Players can support a creator by heading on over to the the Item Shop in Battle Royale or the Loot tab in Save the World, selecting “Support a Creator,” and then entering the Epic tag of their chosen creator. Support for a creator lasts 14 days, at which point the player can either reselect their creator or choose a new one. Creators receive $5 USD (or the local currency equivalent) for every 10,000 V-Bucks spent by players.

Yesterday, Epic Games released the first teaser image for Season 7 of Fortnite Battle Royale, which is due to begin later this week.

Fortnite is available now on Xbox One, PlayStation 4, PC, Nintendo Switch, iOS, and Android.
