Posted on March 5, 2012 AT 07:20am
THE BUZZ: A trailer appeared online over the weekend for a new racer, Forza Horizon. Turn 10 has confirmed that the title is real and will be releasing Fall 2012.
Turn 10′s Dan Greenawalt has confirmed that the game will be developed by Playground Games, which was formed in 2009 by ex-Codemasters execs Trevor Williams and Nick Wheelwright and staffed by ex Black Rock, Bizarre Creations and Slightly Mad Studios employees. The game is described as being a ”fast-paced, pick-up-and-play racing game.”
EGM’s TAKE: Sadly, no gameplay details were shared so we know little about the game. Not much can be garnered from this teaser trailer, other than it reminds us a lot of Need for Speed Pro Street, which means we will have to drive through a crowd of screaming people, scratch some records, pose with some models and sign autographs before we can even think about heading to the starting grid.
