Microsoft and Turn 10 Studios are letting Xbox Live Gold member get a little taste of Forza Horizon just a couple of weeks ahead of the October 23rd release date. If you’re not in that group, at least you get a nice trailer.

Detailing vast environments, an emphasis on relaxed gameplay, and of course, lots of cars.

Truth be told, it’s a nice shift of tone for the series.

(We’re honestly a bit sick of explosions and gratuitous heavy metal.)

Just looking at the trailer, it’s clear to see what the developers think would make a utopia—everyone’s an awesome driver, traffic rules are guidelines at best, and the police are apparently on permanent coffee breaks.

Don’t forget, there’s also a perk for playing the demo and buying the retail release, even if you have to wait a week for XBLA Silver access: your own 2013 SRT Viper GTS. Granted, it won’t be that special since everyone else will likely have one.
