Sleeping Dogs

Square-Enix has released a new gameplay trailer for Sleeping Dogs, which tells you everything you need to know about the game.

In just over four minutes the narrator tells you how best to deal with different situations that may occur while playing. Sleeping Dogs is due out August 14 in the U.S. and August 17 in Europe for Xbox 360, PlayStation 3 and PC.

The game looks to be shaping up well and has managed to retain many hallmarks of the True Crime franchise, while offering several new features. We especially like the action movie, slow motion combat sequences, and nods to Hong Kong cinema. It’s never going to compete with the likes of GTA, but it will definitely do well. You can check out a new batch of screenshots for the game here.
