“Fourth-person” puzzle-adventure game Pavilion is coming PlayStation 4 and PlayStation Vita, developer Visiontrick Media announced today.

According to co-founder and creative director Henrik Flink, “fourth-person” in Paviolion refers to the way players interact with the environment and world instead of the main character. It’s indirect control designed to “guide, influence, or even force [the avatar] to explore and fulfill the purpose of this world.”

Because so much of Pavilion revolves around discovery—going so far as remove any text tutorial or explanations—the developers are purposely avoiding saying too much about the game. Perhaps the gameplay trailer embedded below will help make sense of things (it did not, for me).

Pavilion is set to launch on both systems later this year.
