Assassin's Creed III

To celebrate today’s launch of Assassin’s Creed III, popular YouTube channel FPSRussia has released an episode that takes a look at the real world versions of some of the period weaponry featured in the game.

While the tomahawk, flintlock pistol, and cannon that Dmitri puts to the test in this video are a bit more low tech than the weapons he usually puts to the test, it’s still entertaining to see him obliterate some Redcoat mannequins with a bit of Revolutionary War-era firepower.

Particularly entertaining are the outtakes that show just how unreliable pistols were back then. It’s a good thing Connor doesn’t have to deal with that many misfires in-game, eh?
