Posted on December 15, 2011 AT 06:23am
THE BUZZ: Nintendo has revealed the first details regarding its recent partnership with Eurosport, which will allow 3DS users to access 3D sports videos via SpotPass.
The content will be viewable through a special Eurosport application which can be downloaded from the 3DS eShop for free. Weekly 3D videos will release via the application starting today, December 15, and will continue over the next year. ”Each two to three-minute 3D video is from Eurosport’s popular WATTS programme, which takes an irreverent look at sports and features a mix of exhilarating sporting action and the funniest sporting outtakes from around the world,” Nintendo said.
At the present time this application is only available to European 3DS owners.
EGM’s TAKE: A chance to watch 3D sports videos on your 3DS is a pretty enticing offer, but is this just another novelty?
