THE BUZZ: A few days ago, there was talk about the exclusive features for Saints Row: The Third that had been promised for the PS3 version but which were now missing.

Today, THQ’s Jon Miller brought forth some news that may help take the sting out of that missing content. Until February 13, 2012, PS3 owners who purchase Saints Row: The Third and redeem the game’s online pass will receive a free digital copy of Saints Row 2.

EGM’s TAKE: Nice to see THQ take this action, which no doubt was done to help make up for that lack of exclusive content. As to why the content is missing in the first place, that’s an answer we may never get—but I can’t help think it might have some connection to Microsoft’s recent policy of getting testy if games include exclusive content on any platform other than the Xbox 360.
