Free Los Angeles iam8bit Art Event Honors 25 Years Of Street Fighter

Posted on July 25, 2012 AT 11:45am

Capcom’s celebration of Street Fighter‘s 25th anniversary is heading to Los Angeles, as production studio-slash-collaborative art group iam8bit is hosting a free art exhibit dedicated to the grandfather of fighting games. All you have to do is RSVP and show up.

Per Capcom’s press release, the exhibit will be a showcasing works from 50 different artists, with certain pieces only being available to view on the first day of the event.

If you can’t make the premiere of “Combo Attack: 25 Years of Street Fighter” on August 3rd at Sunset Boulevard, you can still mosey on down to the art hall anytime after that until August 19th.

But the opening party is where you’ll want to put on your Sunday best and pack a camera, as the event will feature events, drinks, and all-ages entry, despite the action running until late at night. Maybe they’ll even have a Street Fighter II cabinet.
