THE BUZZ: Valve has finally announced the release date for the much anticipated Portal 2 DLC. Best of all, it’s free and it arrives in less than a week.

Starting October 4, the free DLC pack, titled Portal 2: Peer Review, will release across all regions, on Xbox 360, PS3 and via Stream on PC and Mac.  Primarilly a co-op test track, Peer Review continues the story of buddy bots P-Body and Atlas as they try to survive even more of GLaDOS’ tests. Additionally, the DLC will offer a single-player and co-op Challenge Mode, complete with leaderboards.

EGM’s TAKE: Please excuse us. We are having trouble leaving our happy place to respond.
