Free Shank Digital Comic Released

Posted on February 15, 2012 AT 02:33pm

THE BUZZ: Wondering what happened story-wise between Shank and Shank 2? Love cool stuff that’s free? Then check out this new digital Shank comic!

EGM’s TAKE: Day-one DLC bothers me. Retailer exclusive pre-order bonuses bother me. Free, fun content that helps to expand on a game’s universe? I’m always up for that!

So too, it seems, are the developers of the Shank series. In honor of the release of Shank 2—and, no doubt, as a small thank you to all of their loyal fans—they got together with artists Jeff Agala and Vangelis Christou to produce a 12-page digital Shank comic, one which bridges the events between the two Shank games.

You’ve got two choices for how to get the comic—either via ComiXology on the iPad, Android, or Kindle Fire, or via directly downloading a PDF version of the comic. Both options are presented on the official Shank blog, which I’ve handily linked to for you below.
