According to a promotional pack sent to Gameblog by some unnamed sources, the Ezio Collection will essentially be a reworked version of the Ezio Trilogy, the three games starring the charming Italian assassin. Included in the collection are Assassin’s Creed II, Assassin’s Creed: Brotherhood, and Assassin’s Creed: Revelations, as well as the DLC for the games and two short films: “Lineage” and “Embers.”
Gameblog reports that, although all of the games will be getting some upgraded textures, The Ezio Collection will run at 30 FPS with 1080p resolution. According to an earlier listing from the Korean Game Rating Board, the collection will release on the PlayStation 4 and Xbox One. If a PC version is announced later on, perhaps it’ll support higher specs.
If Gameblog’s sources are right, we can expect to see the Assassin’s Creed: The Ezio Collection release this holiday season. Keep in mind that there’s no official word from Ubisoft yet on the specifics of what’s in this collection, though both Gameblog’s sources and the Korean Game Rating Board confirm that the collection exists and is on its way to consoles.
