French Press Release Claims Spielberg to Direct Halo Movie

THE BUZZ: A translated french press release is claiming that Steven Spielberg is set to direct a Halo Movie, due out next year.

“A film adaptation is set in 2012. It will be conducted jointly by two heavyweights of American cinema: Steven Spielberg and Dreamworks,” a press release for the upcoming book Halo: Crytum reads. Reports have previously circulated stating that Spielberg has been interested in acquiring the rights to a Halo Movie for some time.

EGM’s TAKE: This is a difficult one to call especially where translations are concerned, this could either be a bad translation or the French just revealed a major secret.
