In anticipation of the Frozen Endzone beta launching this week on December 5, developer Mode 7 released a fairly informative launch trailer for their sci-fi, turn-based take on American football.
Frozen Endzone combines the turn-based tactics of Mode 7’s previous release, Frozen Synapse, with the ruleset and rough structure of American football (throwing in stuff like obstacles to add to the strategic, with robot players and crazy sci-fi settings thrown in for good measure.
The trailer (embedded below), overviews a lot of the basics to Frozen Endzone, including player customization, and breaks down a match, helping players who plan on participating in the beta (and I guess who didn’t play Synapse) better prepare.
The Frozen Endzone beta goes on sale December 5. Interested players can sign up through to a newsletter on the official Frozen Endzone website to receive notice when the beta goes live (as well as get a free music track).
