So Play We All
Bear McCreary — the composer best known for his work on the TV shows Battlestar Galactica, The Walking Dead, and Eureka — has announced that he’s done the music for the multiplayer space shooter Moon Breakers.
Made by Imba Entertainment and Uber Entertainment, Moon Breakers is a free-to-play 3D space shooter that lets’ you dogfight in outer space.
As for McCreary, though he’s best known for his work on television, he’s no stranger to games, having done music for such games as SOCOM: U.S. Navy SEALs 4 and Dark Void.
In the announcement, McCreary says “I am a life-long science fiction nerd and video game junkie. I’ve scored science fiction projects and videogames, but I’ve never had the chance to approach them with such a pulpy, retro tribute to the spaceships and videogames I grew up on in the ’70s and ’80s. I was thrilled to work with everyone at Imba and Uber on a game that combined my passions so perfectly.”
Moon Breakers is now available on Steam.
McCreary’s Moon Breakers soundtrack will be available digitally on both iTunes and Amazon.
