Nintendo will start adding Game Boy Advance games to the Wii U Virtual Console in April starting with Metroid Fusion and more, president Satoru Iwata announced today during the company’s Nintendo Direct presentation.
The first round of games coming to the North American Wii U VC include Metroid Fusion, Mario & Luigi: Superstar Saga, and Yoshi’s Island: Super Mario Advance 3. According to Iwata, more GBA titles will be released on the Wii U Virtual Console every month.
Hopefully those North American releases will include what Japan’s getting: Super Mario World, WarioWare, Golden Sun, F-Zero, Advance Wars, The Legend of Zelda: Minish Cap, Mario & LUigi RPG, Warior Land 4, and Mario Tennis Advance.
Golden Sun and Minish Cap—‘nuff said.
