Game Dev Tycoon is finally heading to Steam next week following its Steam Greenlight approval.

The game is available to pre-order for $7.99–it will be $9.99 following its release on August 29. Players who already own the game will be emailed a Steam key for free.

The Steam version features a longer story line, new platforms, new artwork, and the chance to edit a game name before release. It also contains a rebalanced review system and post-release game reports.
