THE BUZZ: Daishi Odashima, Game Director for Soul Calibur V, recently made some interesting comments regarding the game.

He’s revealed that the team at Project Soul would like to take their time with development, however the “company” he works under seems to be rushing them. Odashima commented on Twitter:

“We’d like to take our time to make the game but the company’s always on our back. I’m nothing more than a salaryman ”

Soul Calibur V is scheduled to release in 2012 for Xbox 360 and PS3.

EGM’s TAKE: We understand that publishers have deadlines to meet, however if a games development is being rushed then there’s a risk of a drop in quality that will hurt both parties.
