Game of Thrones

THE BUZZ: Atlus has announced a release date for Cyanide’s upcoming Game of Thrones RPG.

The game is due to hit Xbox 360, PlayStation 3 and PC in “early June” according to the publisher. During the game you will visit recognizable places and faces from the TV series and get to engage in a lot of political based conversations.

EGM’s TAKE: The last game to spawn from the Game of Thrones series wasn’t a very good one, which has led many to worry about this upcoming entry. However this time George R.R. Martin, author of the A Song of Fire and Ice novels that the show is based upon has had creative input in the game’s story, which is promising. Most fans will be playing this game simply for the story, which is good because from what we’ve seen so far the combat looks unimaginative. As long as the story holds up then most players will be happy, us included.
