Game rental options, albeit non-functioning ones, have been spotted on the PlayStation Store by users across NeoGAF, MP1st, and and PSN Stores.

As seen in the above image, captured by PSN Stores, the listing for Atlus’ Catherine contains options for 1-day, 7-day, and 30-day rentails. According to PSN Stores, when they tried to purchase one of the rental options, the game would appear in their transaction history as “Catherine PS Now,” suggesting that the rebranded Gaikai streaming service will be the vehicle through which game rentals on PlayStation consoles are handled.

PlayStation Now is currently in closed beta. The service is expected to go live in full sometime this spring or summer.
