THE BUZZ: Everyone has heard stories of madness breaking out during Black Friday shopping and this year was no different, as one group of bargain hunting gamers got pepper sprayed while shopping.

Gamers trying to get their hands on cheap games at the Wal-Mart in Porter Ranch, San Fernando Valley, were sprayed with pepper spray thanks to one crazy female shopper. According to the L.A. Times mass shoving broke out in the games section of the store before one woman pulled out some pepper spray and began unleashing it on fellow shoppers. “People started screaming, pulling and pushing each other, and then the whole area filled up with pepper spray,” said one shopper. “They had been sprayed in the face, it looked like, and they had swelling of the face, really extreme swelling of face, redness, coughing,” added another.

EGM’s TAKE: All that just to grab a bargain? That sort of thing never happens when shopping online.
