Gamescom 2012: Black Ops Declassified Gets Special PS Vita Bundle
Posted on August 14, 2012 AT 10:52am
PlayStation Vita owners now have a very special incentive to pick up Call of Duty: Black Ops: Declassified now that Sony has announced a special collector’s edition bundle, which will be hitting shelves in November. That means it’ll be launching around the same time as Black Ops 2, so you can get your warfare on the go when you’re not at home.
As Sony highlighted during their Gamescom 2012 press conference, the bundle includes a special Call of Duty-themed pouch, plus a redesigned rear panel.
Call of Duty: Black Ops: Declassified also boasts 4-on-4 multiplayer over Wi-Fi, which supports Team Deathmatch and Kill Confirmed. New weapons and gear are also part of the package, and will have Vita-specific features and functions, such as using the location-based Near service.
There wasn’t any word about gameplay over 3G networks, though, so we assume you’ll need to be tied to a local Wi-Fi router.
