Gamescom 2012: Black Ops Declassified Trailer Touts Its PS Vita Muscle
Posted on August 14, 2012 AT 12:50pm
Although Activision isn’t exactly bursting at the seams with information about Call of Duty: Black Ops Declassified, it looks like Sony has effectively done the developer’s job for them at Gamescom. Along with news of a special edition bundle specifically for the PS Vita title, there’s also a slick new trailer showing off some features and gameplay.
Here’s a quick breakdown of what the sizzle reel highlights, although no footage of the actual special edition gear itself is present in the short montage:
- Covert single-player missions
- 4-on-4 multiplayer over Wi-Fi
- All-new multiplayer maps
As the first Call of Duty title on the PS Vita, it’s looking like an impressive installment so far, with as much as functionality as can fit into the smaller device.
Originally announced at E3 2012, Call of Duty: Black Ops Declassified will release this November, right around the same time as Black Ops 2. So, make sure you pick it up before Black Friday, because those crowds can be downright vicious.
