Capcom has announced ResidentEvil.net, a free online service that will track player’s stats as they play Resident Evil 6.

The service will launch at the same time as the game and will track stats such as weapons collected and health used, you will then be able to compare these with players from all over the world. Online events will also be hosted through the service by Capcom that will offer RE points as a reward, these points can be used to unlock items in the game such as costumes.

Players can also link their ResidentEvil.net account to Facebook and Twitter.
