Gamescom 2012: Walking With Dinosaurs Revealed For Sony’s Wonderbook
Posted on August 14, 2012 AT 11:35am
Sony’s Wonderbook franchise is taking on some more partnerships during the next year, signing deals with Disney and the BBC for new interactive adventures. In addition to the Harry Potter-themed Book of Spells chapter, Wonderbook will also feature Walking With Dinosaurs and Diggs Nightcrawler.
Although the Wonderbook was previously announced at E3 2012, the lineup hadn’t quite been settled yet, with only Book of Spells and Diggs Nightcrawler confirmed in its content.
Not only does Walking With Dinosaurs substantially increase the profile of the PS Move title (the BBC will certainly help market it), but the partnership with Disney open the doors for several properties.
Supermassive Games will be taking the development lead on Walking With Dinosaurs (in addition to the just-announced Until Dawn survival horror title, also for PS Move), while Moonbot Studios is handling the insect-themed detective noir adventure Diggs Nightcrawler. There’s no release date attached to anything, but 2013 is the current placeholder.
