Trading in games for store credit is the natural order of brick-and-mortar places like GameStop, but the company isn’t missing out on the chance to cash in with the Steam Summer Sale. As announced on their official site, you can now get an extra 30 percent trade-in bonus when you hand over physical games towards Steam Wallet currency.
That’s only if you happen to live in the North American region, though, according to the fine print. Sorry, everyone else.
Interestingly enough, the promotion actually goes for an extra day past the July 22nd end date for Steam’s Summer Sale, but you impulse buyers looking for deals are probably better off getting in on this early.
Just think—with a simple trade-in of Max Payne 3, Amazing Spider-Man, and some other $60 game you won’t touch again, you’ll be able to buy just about any Publisher Pack you set your eyes on. That’s three games for, like, a dozen.
