During an investor call today, GameStop president Tony Bartel said the company sold DLC season passes with over a third of BioShock Infinite and Gears of War: Judgment purchases.
“In the last two weeks, we’ve launched two games that had season passes, both for $20 each—BioShock Infinite and Gears of War: Judgment,” Bartel said. “And both of those, we sold DLC to more than a third of all the people that bought it at midnight and on the day of launch.”
Judgment’s season pass nets players permanent double XP and access to upcoming maps, modes, and content. BioShock Infinite’s season pass discounts three upcoming, story-oriented add-ons and extra gear.
