Borderlands

It appears that Pandora has gotten a facelift, if a new tech video Gearbox Software showed at GDC is any indication of what we’re in for in Borderlands 3.

Gearbox Software president Randy Pitchford revealed a tech demo for some new technology that the company is currently developing. While it definitely looks to be the Borderlands-style of art, Pitchford was very clear that this was not the game—just technology they are currently developing for “a future video game.”

A character was also placed into the landscape, who—despite having their face strategically covered—was described as just a production asset. Overall, it seemed like Gearbox really wanted to show off Borderlands 3 but couldn’t.

If you have interest in seeing the technology in action, but definitely not in seeing the real, final Borderlands 3, check out the video above!
